The beauty of Sydney Harbour is legendary. With 4 million inhabitants, the largest city of Australia keeps a casual seaside character. The tourist heart of Sydney, is of course the Opera, all white sails billowing in the wind, and the Sydney bridge over the bay. In between, Circular Quay, dock for all ferries. Just next to the historic Rocks area where the first settlers were installed. Narrowly saved from demolition in the 1970s, its maze of ancient streets can be visited on foot. The CBD (city business district, business center) with its tall buildings, remains highly concentrated and full of shady parks. A little further away, the port of Darling Harbour is now entirely dedicated to tourism: the waterfront rub hotels, retaurants, cinemas and shopping malls. There is also the beautiful and Sydney Aquarium, terraced, Wildlife Park Wildlife World (which we prefer the Taronga Zoo on the other side of the bay, you will reach a ferry stroke). On the other side of Darling Harbour, Maritime Museum, part of the visit is free. A trip to the Fish Market in the morning or for lunch, this is a fun place to eat fresh fish or seafood. At the bottom of Darling Harbour, do not miss a walk in Chinatown and Paddy's Market where you will buy low prices shirts and souvenirs - often made in China! The area of the town hall (Town Hall) is also very commercial with nice shops of Queen Victoria Building (QVB) and pedestrian arcades of Pitt Street. Side sea, it is the surfing spirit predominates. You will find all the shops Rip Curl, Quicksilver, etc. Take time to visit the beautiful beaches of Bondi Beach, Manly work on your tan, eat ice cream or feel the waves. Remember to stay between the yellow and red flags to swim: Supervised = safe swimming.
